Fresh from a Master’s degree in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford, Kevin brings a dedicated focus on advocacy issues, environmental and Indigenous issues to the spark* team.
While in England, Kevin studied innovative climate change policy mechanisms that can achieve a healthy economy, country, and planet. Other areas of study included the potential for Indigenous peoples in Canada to be active drivers of climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts.
Prior to Oxford, Kevin studied International Relations and Peace, Conflict & Justice at the University of Toronto’s Munk School, while playing for the Men’s Hockey Varsity Blues team.
Kevin brings to the spark*team years of advanced research skills and writing experience from time spent working for the private office of Hon. Bill Graham, for the Munk School’s Environmental Governance Lab, and for the Chiefs of Ontario. Research opportunities in China and remote northern Australia round out his experience.
As a proud Albertan, Kevin brings a valuable Western perspective to the spark* team.
